Please join fellow Buena Vista Park volunteers as we meet this Saturday, January 16th from 9am to 12pm for the monthly volunteer workday. Starting this month January we’ve decided to move the BVNA volunteer workday to the 3rd Saturday of each month and will try this through May, when we break for the summer.

The focus of this Saturday’s event will continue on erosion control by putting in straw wattles at key erosion points along the slopes of the west side, working our way up from the designated dog run, up to the Upper Terrace entrance, time permitting.

As usual, we’ll meet at 9am next to the Children’s Playground above Buena Vista West at Waller Street. If you can only make it part of the time, come seek us out, we can always use the help. Remember to wear sturdy shoes, long pants, long sleeved shirt and bring gloves if you have them (or Rec & Park will provide).
