We’ll be getting together for the 12th annual Buena Vista Neighborfest block party Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 11am – 3pm.  Java Street will be closed off between Buena Vista West and Masonic Ave, where there will be a potluck lunch, the famous Zucchini Car Race, games for kids (including Bouncy House), music, a recycle book table (bring one, take one) and more. And with this being Halloween time, all are welcome to wear your costume, especially the kids.

All neighbors from the surrounding community are welcome and we ask that each household bring one of the following items based on the first letter of your last name:

A – G: Dessert

H – M: Drinks

N – S: Main Dish

T – Z: Salad

As a central activity, we’ll be holding our 3rd annual Zucchini Car Race with all car levels welcome.  Thanks to a fellow neighbor we have an awesome race track ramp to race down (similar to the Pinewood Derby).  Bring your souped up Zucchini Racecar or we’ll also have parts (zucchinis, wheels, etc.) available so you can build your racecar at the party.
